MCP Capability for xAPI LRS Is Now Live for LRS.io Users
Veracity’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) capability is now live in production for LRS.io users. MCP is the open standard that lets AI tools like Claude Code, Google Antigravity, and OpenAI Codex connect securely to your LRS and work with it directly.
The Veracity MCP server is available for all users of Veracity Learning. Existing SaaS and On-Prem customers with dedicated deployments can also request an upgrade by Contacting Veracity.
Why MCP Matters for xAPI and LRS Data
Many organizations have invested in the Experience (xAPI) because it captures learning activity in a richer, more flexible way than traditional SCORM course completion-based tracking. An LRS and xAPI can collect detailed data across courses, simulations, performance support tools, portals, videos, assessments, and other learning experiences. The challenge is that rich data often requires deep technical expertise and effort to analyze. The Veracity MCP capability helps close that gap. Once connected, an MCP-capable AI tool can help you explore the learning activity in your LRS without requiring every user to become a data scientist or query language expert. For example, you use AI tools to do or answer the following:

“What percentage of learners completed all videos in the Programming Languages course?”

How to Get Started
To connect an AI tool to your Veracity Learning LRS, you will need to create an MCP server key and add the Veracity LRS MCP server configuration to your AI client.
